PolioPlus
In 1985, Rotary launched the PolioPlus program to protect children worldwide from the cruel and fatal consequences of polio. Since that time, Rotary's efforts and those of partner agencies, governments, volunteers and public donations around the world, have achieved a 99 percent reduction in the number of polio cases worldwide. Rotarians stand at the brink of a great victory and look forward to celebrating the global eradication of polio.
Sunshine Coast Health Foundation
Our club has supported this organisation for a number of years by participating
in events like the "Row for Cancer". We have also committed (along with other
Sunshine Coast Rotary clubs) to furnish one of the rooms at the new Cancer
centre being constructed at Nambour hospital. Read more about them here.
